Could this be the best (and most expensive) golf cart on the market today? Finnish golf cart and LEV manufacturer Garia have teamed up with German custom car company Mansory to create the Garia Mansory Edition electric golf cart.
Mansory are known for their customization of high end cars, such as Ferrari, Bugatti, Rolls Royce and Bentley. Some of their past creations can be a bit vulgar as they pander to the every whim of their customers, no matter how outlandish. Together with Garia they set out to create the best golf cart in the world, utilizing lots of carbon fiber and supercar inspired touches. Thankfully the Garia Mansory Edition looks tasteful and has a nice supercar “look”.
“When creating the Garia, we set out to build the best golf car in the world, teaming up with the most renowned suppliers in the automobile industry, and with the Garia Mansory Edition our connection to the automobile world is further strengthened”, says Mr. Anders Lynge, designer of the Garia.
Carbon fiber is a lightweight and strong material normally found on the world's most expensive supercars but the Garia makes extensive use of it for its body panels. Specially designed headlights and custom alloy golf cart wheels nicely accent the exterior. The interior also features the finest materials and craftsmanship, with the golf cart floor made from teak tree and the seats covered in the finest leather.
The Garia Mansory is available in both street legal and non-street legal versions, but no word on price as of yet.
This Garia special edition will be unveiled at the IAA, the international motor show in Frankfurt, September 15-25, 2011.
