Club Car have launched a new video website that is dedicated to electric golf carts and utility vehicles. The clubcar.tv site showcases their latest technology and promotes videos that reveal the latest news and information relating to Club Car's electric carts reducing operating costs and carbon emissions for golf course owners and managers.
Among the videos posted is a case study of the Visage mobile GPS system being implemented at various courses in South Africa, enabling course managers to remotely control the golf car fleet, optimise course maintenance with 'no-drive' zones, and monitor pace of play. This has directly led to cost savings, better guest experience and increases in resort revenue.
"The www.clubcar.tv microsite is for all golf course owners, operators and managers who want to learn more about the bottom line business benefits of electric golf cars and utility vehicles," said Roberto Gorostiaga, Vice-President of Club Car in the EMEA region.
"It is also a professional platform to gain a deeper understanding of how technology, such as a mobile golf GPS system, not only helps the operator take full control of their fleet, but drives additional revenues by enhancing customer experience."
Roberto Gorostiaga added: "We encourage everyone in the golf business to visit www.clubcar.tv, where new content will be added on a weekly basis demonstrating the different ways in which more and more golf courses are using their golf cars, utility vehicles and GPS technology to drive business."
Several videos posted on the site outline Club Car's success with their electric golf carts around the world in reducing operating costs, increasing revenue and profitability. Stories include, plug-in and go carts for the PGA Tour, in-cart advertising revenues at the Doha GC and electric carts for the 2014 Ryder Cup.
