The 60's was a very stylish decade with the coolest looking cars, the most glamorous movie stars and the wildest rock 'n roll stars. We've no doubt this 1965 Club Car golf cart would have been driven by a Don Draper type sipping a dry martini (shaken not stirred, naturally) as he discussed advertising deals with his clients over a round of match-play. If you buy this vintage electric used golf cart you could transport yourself back to a more relaxed time.
Club Car started producing golf carts way back in 1958 and so this is one of their earliest models and there can't be many of these around anymore. This particular example is a 3-wheeled 1965 model that is offered for sale north of the border in Victoria on Vancouver Island, BC. and has recently undergone a full restoration.
The golf cart body is newly painted with a two tone paint job in white and orange, along with white vinyl seats and a white cloth canopy. Aluminum checker plating finishes off the floor and kick plates nicely.
The cart is fitted with a 36V battery system and we assume that all the electric motors and wiring has been brought up to modern standards. This should give it great performance around the golf course and it will be a reliable cart for years to come.
