EZGO Terrain & Trail Golf Carts

EZGO launches Terrain & Express golf carts for off-road uses

In October E-Z-Go will launch two new lines of golf carts aimed at off-road use for both the utility and leisure user. The four Terrain golf cart models are aimed at those who need a off-road cart for work use and E-Z-Go say they are an ideal choice for taking on daily chores, navigating farms and other large acreages, or just ferrying the day's catch from a favorite fishing hole. Where the Terrain is ideal for transporting equipment, the Express model line is aimed at moving people. E-Z-Go say it's perfect to move families and friends through neighborhood paths or campground trails quickly, safely and efficiently.

The Terrain range of utility carts consist of four models, the Terrain 250, Terrain 500, Terrain 1000 and Terrain 1500 which offer increasing cargo capacity and power options.

"The E-Z-GO Terrain is a durable, stylish and versatile off-road machine to help people work hard and play harder," said Kevin Holleran, president of E-Z-GO. "We are pleased to introduce the Terrain line and look forward to enjoying our customers' reaction and satisfaction as they experience these exciting vehicles firsthand."

The base model Terrain 250 is a "run-about" cart that offers either 48V electric drivetrain or a 13HP Kawasaki gas engine. It also has a 5.9cu-ft cargo bed with 800lb capacity and seating for two. The Terrain 500 is a gas engined golf cart with the same 13HP Kawasaki motor for extra torque, but with a lift kit for more ground clearance over difficult terrain. The Terrain 1000 is a hauling machine that offers a 48V electric or 13HP gas engine choice but with a large 9.6 cubic-foot cargo bed with a capacity of 1000lb.

The beastly Terrain 1500 is made for the biggest jobs and is fitted with a powerful 16HP, 480cc V-twin golf cart engine and a 9.6cu-ft cargo bed and 800lb max capacity. Both the Terrain 1000 and Terrain 1500 are offered with an optional 14.9 cubic-ft aluminum cargo bed for those who need more cargo capacity.

Each of the Terrain utility carts can be customized to suit any application and can be specified with a wide variety of options and accessories, such as powered dump beds, rear view mirrors, chrome wheels and stereo systems.

The new E-Z-Go Express golf carts for sale are suitable for any situation that needs people to be moved around, such as in your neighborhood or on campground trails. The Express carts are not fully street legal, so can only be used on private property or where permitted by the landowner.

"The E-Z-GO Express line makes the journey as enjoyable as the destination," said Kevin Holleran, president of E-Z-GO. "With their sleek design, convenient features and environmentally friendly operation, these vehicles make trips across the community or campsite greener, more efficient, and just more fun."

Four models of the Express carts will be available, the Express S4, Express L4, Express S6 and the Express L6. All carts can be specified with either zero-emissions 48V electric power or the 13HP 401cc Kawasaki gas engine. As the Express models are passenger carts they are also fitted with some accessories to make the journey easier, such as cup holders, storage pockets and easy-to-reach controls.

All models within the Terrain and Express lines are fitted with flip-windshields, lights and steel brush guards to help prevent damage when driving on undulating rough terrain. Off-road golf cart tires are fitted to all models, apart from the Express S6 model which has street tires and features a lower suspension height.
