Club Car have recently announced a recall for certain models of their gas golf carts. If you’ve recently purchased a brand new gas powered 2012 Club Car golf cart or utility vehicle then you’d better check to see if it’s affected.
The recall related to a problem with the fuel system whereby the fuel hose can separate from the fuel tank and cause a risk of fire. The fuel hose issue affects several models of Club Car gas golf carts manufactured between March 2012 through May 2012, including the DS Gas, Villager 4 Gas, XRT Gas and Carryall Gas.
Check your model and serial number of your 2012 Club Car gas golf cart against the following list to see if it is affected by the recall. The serial number can be found above and to the right of the accelerator pedal.
- DS Gas Golf Car S/N AG 1232-298757 to AG 1238-314938
- Villager 4 Gas S/N TG 1232-299285 to TG 1237-312956
