Michael Jordan is known to sports fans around the world as a basketball legend. He is one of a select few sporting superstars, like Tiger Woods, who has transcended their sport to have legions of fans outside of their sport. Although still involved in basketball through his ownership of the Charlotte Bobcats, Jordan finds time to enjoy his love of golf during his retirement.
Through his professional NBA career with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards Jordan ran up and down the court countless times so no-ones going to blame him for taking it easy and driving golf carts around the golf course. Many golfers enjoy a small wager during a round and Jordan was no exception, with author Richard Esquinas claiming to have won $1.25 from him.
Michael can be spotted at several celebrity charity golf tournaments throughout the year and is always followed by a sizable crowd. In the photo above he's driving a cute baby blue custom golf cart that's fitted with alloy wheels and a custom golf cart body, complete with matching baby blue grass seed bottles.
His involvement with golf doesn't end with the odd round once in a while. Jordan has spent time as an adviser to several Ryder Cup U.S team captains, most recently for Davis Love III at the 2012 Ryder Cup played at Medinah Country Club.
Unfortunately Michael's influence couldn't prevent the U.S team losing in the most dramatic fashion with a final day singles match collapse that saw the European team win by a point, 14 1/2 to 13 1/2.
