Gas Golf Cart Oil / Fuel & Air Filters
Golf cart filters should be replaced every couple of years or whenever you service your gas carts’ engine. Engine filters will clog up with debris over time and failure to replace them can result in poor performance, gas range or even engine failures.
Oil filters clean debris, tiny metal particles, from the engine oil and should be replaced every year when your engine oil is changed. Air filters prevent dust and contaminants in the air from getting into the carburetor and manufacturers recommend they are changed every year. Fuel filters help stop small debris, usually from the inside of the fuel tank, from entering the carb and should be changed every few years.
These filters can be purchased separately or are part of tune-up kits that also come with other gas engine parts that should be replaced during a service.
